Some personal thoughts on the future of photography & the meaning of excellence:

"As far as commercial photography is concerned, I have always tried to understand (something that I owe to N.Y.C.) the subtle interchange between a good photograph and its "evolution" into an image or "imaging" if you like.
The possibilities and the themes are endless...especially today when digital Hi-End phototechnology is offering new & extraordinary tools;  forcing all veteran-analog professionals, even the new generation of digital photographers, into new & unknown territories of technical knowledge, opening new challenges into the “Highways of Creativity”.
It seems to me that now, more than ever before, the need to deliver excellence (i.e. the right  blend of technical expertise, high aesthetic criteria & a sense of perfect timing) has become indispensable, even implicit, constituting a very strict prerequisite for all future  collaborations between "artists-photographers" and their old & new employers : the advertising  & publishing companies.

The rules of the game have changed once more...but that's the beauty of it...or is it not ?”
